Bonsai Start Tree

Which kind of bonsai must i choose which will stay the littlest?
I must start taking care of a bonsai plant like a hobby, can someone advise me on which kind of tree will be a good starter plant?
I wish to know which kind of tree is better to coach so that it is tiny small, I wish it to be one foot or less. Even more compact could be great.
Also, I'd LOVE a range that creates flowers.
This is a mainly indoor bonsai, though I wouldn't mind getting it outdoors for outdoors on nice days.
Thanks ahead of time!
a bonsai does not just 'stay' small, you have to work on it, to maintain it small.....
bonsai remains the plant that it's... if it must live outdoors, then it won't prosper INSIDE..... (crepes hate it inside!)
you have to study the where's and how's much more before you are ready for any plant.... best idea is always to obtain a book.....

that "BASICS'' one looks good to begin with....
